Our process

A visible process, from first message to long after launch.

You should never have to ask where a project stands. Every stage has a purpose, a deliverable you can see, and a clear statement of what we need from you to move to the next one.

How we work

Seven stages, in order, every time.

When you get in touch, we reply to understand what you need and arrange a discovery conversation. From there the project moves through the stages below. You always know which stage you are in, what comes next, and what we need from you to keep moving — and the schedule is agreed with you during Discover rather than assumed.

  1. Discover

We start with your business, not your website: what you sell, who buys it, what the sales conversation sounds like, and where the current process loses people. Everything after this is built on what we learn here.

    What you get

    • Discovery session
    • Requirements summary
    • Scope and project plan

    What we need

Time with whoever knows the business best, and access to any existing analytics.

  2. Strategize

We define the primary conversion goal, the journeys that lead to it, the structure that supports those journeys, and the search terms worth building around — so design decisions have a reason behind them.

    What you get

    • Site architecture
    • Conversion strategy
    • Keyword and content plan

    What we need

Confirm priorities and sign off the structure.

  3. Design

Typography, colour, spacing, imagery and motion are defined as one system, then applied across key pages. You review real designs — not a theme with your logo dropped into it.

    What you get

    • Design system
    • Key page designs
    • Interactive prototype

    What we need

    Consolidated feedback across review rounds.

  4. Develop

We build with Next.js and TypeScript using reusable components, semantic accessible markup and performance budgets held throughout — not retrofitted at the end.

    What you get

    • Staging build
    • Responsive implementation
    • Integrations connected

    What we need

Supply final content, images and any third-party account access.

  5. Refine

Cross-browser and real-device testing, accessibility checks, performance profiling, form and integration testing, and a full content review before anything goes live.

    What you get

    • QA report
    • Accessibility review
    • Performance results

    What we need

Final content sign-off and approval to launch.

  6. Launch

Domain and DNS, SSL, analytics, Search Console, redirects from any previous site, and a post-launch check that everything resolves and tracks correctly.

    What you get

    • Live site
    • Analytics and Search Console
    • Redirects verified

    What we need

Domain and hosting access, or authority for us to arrange it.

  7. Support

Hosting management, security and dependency updates, uptime monitoring, content changes and periodic analytics review — so the site keeps working long after launch day.

    What you get

    • Maintenance plan
    • Monitoring
    • Ongoing improvements

    What we need

Tell us what is changing in the business so the site keeps up.
